How do you create a new Analytics report?

Answer

  • Go to Analytics>Access Analytics in Alma
  • Create a new report by selecting Analysis from the Create dropdown menu:
    create analysis
  • Then select a subject area (e.g., cost usage, fines and fees, fulfillment, etc.) from that menu:
    subject area

 

Example of a new Fulfillment report for the number of loans by item location, location code and year loaned:

  • Select Location Name and Location Code from Item Location at Time of Loan by double clicking on them or by dragging and dropping to the top right-hand window:
    location name and code
  • Do the same thing to select Loans from the Loan folder (the yellow ruler icon indicates a quantity):
    select loans
  • and the Loan Year from the Loan Date folder:
    add loan year
  • Click on the Results tab to run the report and see the results:
    click on results
