How do I change the display order of physical holdings, and items in the same holdings location, in Primo VE?

Physical Holdings Display Order:

The location with the greatest number of holdings should be displayed first, but there is some additional configuration of preference that may be applied:

Go to Configuration>Fulfillment>Discovery Interface Display Logic>Locations Ordering Profile
From there, you may adjust your display locations as necessary, including the option to set a custom libraries order:

Display Order for Items in a Physical Location:

This is particularly important for print serials, as they are displayed alphabetically which puts them in chronological order, instead of the most recent items first.

To change the sort order:

Go to Configuration Menu>Resources>General>Physical Item Sort Routines
Click on Add Sort Routine
Name the routine and choose if it should ascending or descending
Select the field that you'd like to use to sort (e.g. chronology, material type, etc.)
Select Add to Selection and reorder fields as needed:
Choose the Resource management Get It results item list as the place to add this sort routine, and make sure to mark it as the default, as you only have one option for sort routines in Primo VE:
