How can I create an ISBN search in Advanced Search and how can I make the ISBN display in the full record?
Answer
To add to search:
- Go to Discovery>Configure Views and choose the view you'd like to edit
- Go to the Advanced Search Configuration tab
- Under the List of Indexes, choose Customize and Add Index:
- Click the dropdown in the Index options and scroll down to find ISBN:
- Click on Add Index and make sure that it's toggled on in the Active column
To add to display in full record:
- Go to Discovery>Configure Views and select the view that you'd like to edit
- Click on the Full Record Services Tab
- Next to the line for Details, click the three dots and choose Configure
- Click on Customize to add the field:
- Choose Add Field and scroll down to find and select Identifier:
- Click Save to save the field. Note that this will include ISSN, etc.
