How does the email function work in Primo VE and what do I do if it isn't working?

Email in Primo VE doesn't work out of the box. In order to get it to work, you need to activate the Email Records letter. Here's how:
- You'll need a letter administrator role. If you don't have it, add it to your account, save the account, log out and then log back in again
- Go to Configuration>General>Letters>Letters Configuration
- Scroll down to EmailRecordsLetter.
- Click the three dots on the right and choose "customize." If you don't see that option, you may need to click on "customize all" at the top of the list of letters
- Make sure that this turns the button to the left of the letter fully colored (in this example below, you'd need to make it the same dark color as the Finesandfeesreportletter below it):
Once the letter is enabled, you may want to customize it:
- Click on the ellipsis next to EmailRecordsLetter and choose edit
- To change the addressFrom, click the ellipsis next to that, choose Customize, and add the address
- Click Save
- If you want to change the Subject from "Item(s) sent by Ex Libris Discovery" to something else:
- Go to Configuration>Discovery>Display Configuration Labels
- Scroll down to "Send Email and SMS Labels"
- Click on the ellipsis and choose Edit
- Edit the Description for email.itemsfound to your desired subject line
