How do I link an Institutional Zone (IZ) record with the NZ using "Share with Network"?

Answer

Thing to keep in mind prior to linking IZ records to the NZ:

  • Review the IZ only bib record:
    • Make sure it has an OCLC # in 035 $$a using the following pattern: (OCoLC)##########
    • Delete any local record (non-OCLC) numbers in 035 $$a
    • Create local fields you want to retain (Editing Actions>Add Local Extension)

View the Share with Network LibGuide for more information.
