How do I get my proxy to work on collections that use "link in record" linking?

Some collections, like Encyclopedia Britannica, use "link in record" linking, meaning that the links come from the CDI rather than from the Alma record. In these cases, the proxy is controlled by Configuration>Discovery>Other>Central Index and proxy set-up>settings under Use Proxy section.
