What MARC fields drive the display of the “Related” titles in Alma and Primo?

Answer

The following MARC fields link related titles: 773, 774, 777, 780, 785, 786, 800, 810, 811, and 830.

Relationships can be made between:

  • Bib record and bib record - to link a bib record to another bib record it requires $$w (MMS ID or OCLC #) or $$x (ISSN), example; 773 18 $$w (MMSID/OCLC#)
  • Bib record and item record - to link a bib record to an item record add a $g with the item enumeration information, example; 773 18 $$w (MMSID/OCLC#) $$g no: iss: yr: month:
