How do I make changes to a set of item records?

The "Change Physical Items Information" job can be run on a set of physical items to make changes to the following item record fields:
- Permanent location information, including:
- Permanent location
- Item call number type
- Item call number
- Storage location ID
- Temporary location information, including:
- Set item temporary indication
- Clear temporary information
- Temporary location
- Temporary call number type
- Temporary call number
- Due back date
- Temporary item policy
- General information, including:
- Copy ID
- Material type
- Item policy
- Provenance
- Is magnetic
- PO line
- Issue date, Receiving date, Excepted receiving date
- Pages, Pieces
- Replacement cost
- Receiving operator
- Physical condition
- Missing status
- In Process Type
- Removing transit status
- Change inventory information, including:
- Inventory number
- Inventory date
- Inventory price
- Weeding date
- Change notes information, including:
- Public note
- Fulfillment note
- Internal note(s)
- Statistics note(s)
- Enumeration A-M
- Change retention information, including:
- Committed to Retain status
- Retention reason
- Retention note
Conditions that can be applied to the fields being changed by the "Change Physical Items Information" job:
- Unconditionally
- If Field Empty
- If Field Not Empty
To change item records from a set using the "Change Physical Items Information" job:
- Create a logical or itemized set of physical items
- Run the "Change Physical Items Information" job on the set
- Go to Admin>Manage Jobs and Sets>Run a Job
- Select the Change physical items information job
- Click Next
- Click on the radio button next to the itemized set created in step 1
- Click Next
- The Run a Job - Enter Task Parameters screen open
- Select the parameters to be changed and conditions on how the parameters should be changed
- Click Next
- Click Confirm when the pop-up confirmation message appears
- Click Submit
