How do I turn off recalls?

Answer

Recalls can be turned off by either editing the Is Recallable setting in your Loan TOUs or using a Display Logic Rule to hide the Hold Request service in Primo.  You will need the Fulfillment Administrator role to do either of those things.

Note: Hiding the Hold Request Service will also disable on shelf requesting.  If you wish to turn off recalls yet still allow on shelf requesting, you will need to edit your Loan TOU.

Turning off Recalls by Editing Loan TOUs

1. Go to Configuration | Fulfillment | Physical Fulfillment | Terms of Use and Policies

2. Change the Terms of Use Type filter to Loan

3. Click the ellipsis next to the first Loan TOU that allows recalls and then click Edit.
