How do I change my hold shelf period?

The hold shelf period determines how long an item can be on hold before the hold expires. Hold shelf periods must be configured for each circulation desk that has a hold shelf. It is possible to configure different hold shelf periods for different circulation desks. To configure hold shelf periods, you will need the Fulfillment Administrator role.
1. Go to Configuration, select the library housing the circulation desk whose hold shelf period you wish to change from the Configuring dropdown, and then go to Fulfillment>Library Management>Circulation Desks.
2. Click the ellipsis next to the circulation desk you wish to edit and then click the Edit link.
3. Scroll down to the Hold Shelf Information section of the General Details tab, enter a new value into the maximum Time On Hold Shelf (Days) field, and then click the Save button.
