How do I enable Alma authentication in Primo?

Answer

In order to allow internal users (walk-in borrowers, community borrowers, etc.) to log in to Primo, you will need to enable Alma authentication. To do this, you will need either the Discovery Administrator or General System Administrator role. 

 

1. Go to Configuration | Discovery | Authentication | User Authentication

2. Toggle the Active button for Alma authentication to the right (on) position.

3. Click the Login Labels tab and enter the desired login labels in the parallel.login.link fields. The numbers of the parallel.login.links correspond with the numbers listed next to the authentication profiles in the Profiles tab. In this example, parallel.login.link1 is the label for CAS-1 authentication, and parallel.login.link2 is the label for Alma authentication. Once you've finished configuring the parallel.login.links, click the Save button.
