How do I hide the hold request link if an item is unavailable?
Answer
When an item is unavailable, the resource sharing request link appears in Primo. If you'd like to prevent your users from submitting hold requests for items that are unavailable, you can use a display logic rule to hide the hold request link whenever the resource sharing request link appears. To do this, you will need the Fulfillment Administrator role.
1. Go to Configuration | Fulfillment | Discovery Interface Display Logic | Display Logic Rules
2. Click the Add Rule link.
3. Select Hold Request from the Hide Service dropdown, select Resource Sharing Request from the If Service Exists dropdown, and then click the Add and Close button.
4. The display logic rule you just created will be added to the bottom of your display logic rules list. Display logic rules are applied in list order, so you will need to click and drag the rule to a position in the list where it won't conflict with any of your other rules.
